Athletics
Athletic programs are available for all students in grades K-12 under the leadership of an Athletic Director. NCSD is a member of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association and offers middle and high school students the opportunity to compete with local public/private schools and schools for the deaf. Teams include soccer, softball, football, basketball, track and cheerleading. For students in grades K-8, NCSD has a cooperative agreement with the Morganton Recreation Department where various activities are offered.
